Donations

Although all Stringtown events are free, a large amount of people have asked if they can donate in some way. In response to these many requests, we have chosen a few charities that we collect donations for at each of these events. All proceeds collected during Stringtown events are donated to these charities.

Making a donation at Stringtown events
Whenever you come to a Stringtown event, such as the Polar Express or Nightmare Express, look for a donation box on your way out. Usually, as you are walking out after riding the train, you will see a table or two set up with a donation box with a sign next to it. The sign usually tells you what charities we are collecting donations for. If you are interested in donating to one of those charities, please feel free to use the donation boxes there on the tables.

Making a donation online through PayPal
Besides donating at Stringtown events, we have also had people ask if they can donate online. We have created a PayPal account that you can use to donate to these charities. If you would like to make a donation through our PayPal account, please use the link below.

...or use your PayPal account to send a donation to donations@stringtown.us.

Charities

From time to time we change the charities we donate to. Below is a description of the different charities we are sponsoring this year.

Primary Children's Medical Center

Primary Children's Medical Center is the pediatric center serving five states in the Intermountain West - Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Nevada and Montana. The 252-bed facility is equipped and staffed to treat children with complex illness and injury.

Primary Children's is owned by Intermountain Healthcare, a non-profit health care system. In addition, it is affiliated with the Department of Pediatrics, University of Utah, integrating pediatric programs, research and training for childhood problems. The hospital is located in a beautiful facility designed to meet the special needs of children and their families.
