Information About the Batting and Golf Cages
Stringtown also has two full size batting cages. The cages are each 85 feet long by 16 feet wide.
The cages are made of 1 inch netting and floors are covered in 1 1/2 inch artficial turf.
Baseball and Softball Pitching Machines
The batting cages are equiped with two state of the art pitching machines.
These machines can pitch fast pitch (baseballs) or slow pitch (softballs).
Bats and helmets are available to borrow upon request, but it is recommended that you bring your own.
Golf Driving Range
Because these cages are made of 1 inch netting (holes are smaller than a golf ball) and the floors are covered in
artificial turf, these cagea cam also be used for driving and putting practice.
You must bring your own golf equipment and golf balls to use the cages for golf practice.
And if you like golf, be sure to check out the putting greens as well.
Batting and Golf Cages Rules
Do not enter without an adult
Do not operate equipment without an adult present
Do not adjust machines without proper instructions
Helmets required at all times in batting cages
Shirt and shoes required
No horseplay in batting cages
No climbing or hanging on nets
Leave gates closed at all times
Only one person per cage at a time when hitting
Never stand in front of pitching machines
Ensure machines are off before picking up balls
Bring your own equipment
Do not remove balls from cages
Return all balls to pitching machines
Return all equipment before leaving
Close gates and turn off lights when leaving
Lights out at 10:00 PM on week days
Lights out at 11:00 PM on weekends
Clean up - Leave it better than you found it
