Information About the Indoor Soccer Field
The indoor soccer field is 80 feet long by 25 feet wide, which is suitable for 6 vs. 6 youth play or 4 vs. 4 adult play.
The floor is covered with 1 1/2 inch artificial turf, which plays a lot like real grass, except the ball moves a lot smoother and faster.
The walls are made of 3/4 inch ABX plywood and the lights are covered with virtually indestructable 1/4 inch lexan glass,
so even the biggest and strongest players can play without worrying about breaking anything.
And to keep the kids safe, all sharp edges, corners, and openings, including the goals,
have been protected with thick foam padding to prevent serious injuries while using the indoor soccer field.
Last, but most important, we painted the walls and ceilings a lovely sky blue to give the appearance of playing outside on a beutiful summer day, even when there's a blizzard outside.
If any of you out there are artists that would like to paint a mural on the wall, let us know. We'd love to have you come paint some flowers, grass, trees, or whatever might make the room more enjoyable.
Indoor Soccer Field Rules
No food or open drinks
No soccer in the dark
Keep doors closed
Do not exit through windows
Return all balls to equipment bins
Close doors and turn off lights when leaving
Closes at 9:00 PM on week days
Closes at 10:00 PM on weekends
Clean up - Leave it better than you found it
