Information About the Train
Around the perimeter of Strintown, you will find a small set of railroad tracks.
These tracks belong to the Stringtown Railroad, a 1/8th scale model railroad.
The Stringtown railroad currently runs one Union Pacific diesel locomotive, two flat cars, and four gondola cars.
We have another locomotive currently being built, and it will be running on the rail lines shortly.
Currently, there is about one mile of track running through Stringtown, with plans in lay about another 1/2 mile of track this summer.
The first new lines will run through a 60 foot tunnel, past the soon to be installed playground, then out around the soccer fields.
Just before Halloween, the Stringtown Railroad gets transformed into the Stringtown Spook Alley. For more information on the Spook Alley, including dates, times, and reservations,

During the Christmas holiday, the Stringtown Railroad gets transformed into the Polar Express. For more information on the Polar Express, including dates, times, and reservations,

Train Rules
Keep hands and feet inside cars at all times
Do not touch train switches
Do not touch landscaping
Do not wiggle or rock cars
Do not spin or swivel chairs
Do not stand in cars while moving
Do not get in or out of cars while moving
Balance weight in cars when loading to avoid derailment
Clean up - Leave it better than you found it
